FTP Your Files to Watkins Printing

FTP is an efficient means of transferring data over the Internet. You'll need an FTP client software program like Transmit or RBrowser for Macintosh; or CuteFTP or Filezilla for Windows. A few simple settings are all you need to send files directly to our server.

(If you are having trouble setting up FTP, or obtaining a FTP program, you may want to try emailing us your file, or use our Web/Browser based upload service.)

Settings
You may set up your FTP client to access Watkins Printing FTP using the following settings:
  • Host Name / Address: ftp.printwatkins.com
  • Host Type: Auto Detect
  • User ID: Customer
  • Password: (Please call your sales representative)
  • Passive Mode: On (Especially if you are behind a firewall.)

Enabling passive mode in WS_FTP.

Please note: For security reasons, our server does not accept anonymous connections for receiving files. You must contact us if you wish to send files via FTP.

Guidelines
  • Please notify your salesperson when you have sent a file.
  • Upload only compressed files rather than folders. Compress multiple files into an archive using StuffIt® on the Macintosh or PKZip for Windows®.
  • Place files in the "upload" folder.
